InWEnt trains people who want to make a difference: young executives and experts who are actively involved in the future of their country and put visions into practice. These people are our partners. The Alumni Programme provides former participants of InWEnt with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their skills, to establish contacts to other alumni and to interchange.
The objectives of our Alumni Programme are:
Support of Alumni Associations (AA) The alumni associations are open to all former participants of InWEnt advanced training programmes as well as former grant holders from other German organizations. AA are part of the InWEnt local networks: They support their members in implementing new knowledge, organize their own training programmes, and get involved as regional InWEnt partners of co-operation. Information on the Establishment of an alumni association and for financial support of activities by InWEnt you can find in the Guidelines for Financial Support of Training Projects of alumni associations and networks. Alumni Programme of InWEnt’s Regional Office Hanoi The Regional Office of InWEnt offers advanced short-term training courses to alumni especially in interdisciplinary subjects like Human Resources Management, Project Management, Negotiations Skills or Conflict Management. These follow-up seminars help alumni to extend and refresh their knowledge. Alumni Portal All offers we provide for alumni can be found on the Alumni Portal at www.inwent.org/alumni as a platform for learning, information and communication. It is open to anybody connected with InWEnt: former and current participants of InWEnt advanced training, co-operation partners, and alumni from other German organizations. Alumni Networks provides you with information about means of participation in international InWEnt learning communities. The Alumni Portal is also a platform to communicate with participants from different professional fields. In addition, the Alumni Portal offers examples of other alumni’s work, monthly focal point topics, and alumni portraits. We would be happy to include your ideas and contributions on the Alumni Portal. Just send them to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Alumni Newsletter and Alumni Magazine DIALOG The electronic newsletter is published in cooperation with Deutsche Welle and can be subscribed to via www.inwent.org/alumni. In addition, the Alumni Magazine DIALOG is published twice a year with a main focus on imparting special field knowledge, methods and competences. DIALOG informs you about other alumni and alumni activities that could be of professional interest. The Alumni Portal’s Knowledge Pool provides an online version of DIALOG.
