On Friday, 4 July 2008, a Trilateral Cooperation Agreement was signed between GTZ Macroeconomic Reform Programme, State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and InWEnt International Capacity Building, Germany to conduct the Executive Training Programme for SBV senior staff in 2008-2009. The training programme has been conducted since 2006 within the cooperation framework between GTZ and SBV but this is the first time it is developed as a Training of Trainer (ToT) model with the purpose to ensure the sustainability of the programme for SBV.

Workshop for incubation projects in Vietnam on 12th June 2008 at Melia Hotel Hanoi.Within the framework of the project `Promotion of Technological Innovations in South East Asia`, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), InWEnt, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), held a planning workshop for incubation projects in Vietnam on 12th June 2008 at Melia Hotel Hanoi.

On 3rd - 4th April 2008, a group of participants from the last two RED Expert and RED Manager Programs of 2006-2007 met altogether in Hanoi in a follow-up meeting after their training in Germany. The meeting was focused on participants''s reports about the implementation progress of their individual transfer projects. By implementing these transfer projects, participants will be able to adapt and introduce German instruments to the specific situation in their country.

A training on Social Management System (SMS) for Business Promotion and Support Center (BPSC) - the new InWEnt partner of the project Social Standards Exchange of Experience in South-East Asia and Practical Learning (SEAL) was hold on March 24th - 28th 2008 in Hanoi.The participants were 25 trainers of BPSC and German Development Service (DED) from different places in Vietnam.

Regional Economic Development Training in Germany from 01 October 2008 to 30 September 2009

Based on the German experience in Regional Management and the implementation of concepts of local and regional development, the objectives of InWEnt RED Expert Program are to qualify and enable junior executives from public and private institutions to introduce, practice and impart services of coordination and advice.
