Beginning of December 2009, five experts from the State Bank of Vietnam and two from the Ministry of Finance returned back to Vietnam from the 12- weeks InWEnt training course "Strengthening Macroeconomic Policies" (MPS+) in Mannheim/Germany.

The training course provided advanced knowledge and interrelated knowledge with regard to macroeconomic policies and covered modules in the field of monetary and fiscal policy, financial systems and stability, trade and economic integration as well as national development strategies. The course also included a study tour to several financial institutions in Germany (among others in the capital Berlin) in order to provide the participants with first hand insights from experienced resource persons.
