Announcement: Training course on “Health Management – Improving Decentralised Health Services” in Vietnam

InWEnt in partnership with Hanoi School of Public Health announces a four-week training course on Health Management - Improving Decentralised Health Services from 05th - 30th October 2009 in Hanoi.

Time: 05 - 30 October 2009.


Venue: Hanoi School of Public Health, 138 Giang Vo street, Hanoi.


Course contents: The training course provides for participants knowledge about leadership, communication, human resource management; health management and administration; applied epidemiology; and financial management.


Target group:

  • Citizens of Yen Bai, Phu Yen, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Nghe An provinces.
  • Director/Deputy Director and mid-level staffs of provincial Department of Health provincial/district preventive medicine center.
  • Personnel of the regional and district Human Resource Department.
  • Members of the district health management team.
  • Health personnel occupying senior and middle manager positions with comparable duties.


Trainers/Co-trainers: Lectures will be given by the international experts and trainers of Hanoi School of Public Health.


Language: Vietnamese and English.


Application deadline: 10 August 2009.
