Announcement: Training in Germany on Managing Development in Rural Regions

RM_ILTInWEnt announces the 12-months International Leadership Training (ILT) programme on "Managing Development in Rural Regions" for young professionals and junior executives from Cambodia and Laos, from November 2010 to October 2011 in the Federal Republic of Germany.

What are the general objectives?

The overall objective of the International Leadership Training is to contribute to a sustainable development in rural regions in Cambodia and Laos.

The training will increase the competence of young professionals and junior executives from government, private business and civil society to stimulate regional rural development, to manage rural organizations and projects, including the promotion of agricultural and rural value chains. Additionally, there will be ample opportunities for sharing experiences in the field of promoting regional rural development with participants from West-Africa and other Asian Countries.


Target group:

The International Leadership Training is designed for highly skilled young professionals and junior executives from Cambodia and Laos, working in organizations promoting rural development and value chains in rural areas. Participants from the private sector, government and civil society organizations are equally welcome. We particularly welcome applications of female candidates.
