The International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) of InWEnt - Capacity Building International, Germany, announces a two-week Newspaper Management Course to be held in Berlin from 06 to 20 November 2009. The course aims at enhancing the efficiency and professionalism and thereby the financial viability of independent newspapers and online editions by introducing senior editors and managers of media houses in Africa and Asia to modern management tech¬niques and by familiarizing them with the new technological and organisational requirements.
Target group: Senior editorial and managerial staff including editors, deputy editors, assistant editors, news editors as well as business/commercial managers in small and medium sized news-papers which have an online edition or consider to go online.
Application deadline: September 04, 2009.
