The International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) of InWEnt (Capacity Building International, Germany) announces two-week training courses for journalists from print and online media based in Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).The courses will be conducted in Jakarta, Indonesia on the following dates:
The program aims at enhancing journalists understanding of the concept of economic and political regional integration in general and of the history, institutions and policies of ASEAN in particular and thus improving the quality of reporting on ASEAN matters within the region. In addition, the program enables the exchange of journalists from various ASEAN member states and gives the opportunity for regional and national networking.
