As part of the International Leadership Training (ILT) on Hospital Management 2008-2009, from 22nd-24th September 2008 an assessment workshop with participants from Vietnam and Indonesia was held in Hanoi.Presentations on current problems of hospital sector reform and management were combined with an assessment centre consisting of interviews and group work.
This advanced training programme is designed for Vietnam, Indonesia, and China. The participants, leading health personnel from these countries will become familiar with modern management instruments needed to guarantee effective and efficient management in health care facilities. By this they will take over a multiplier role in implementing reforms in the hospital sector in their own countries.

As result of the assessment 8 participants (4 from Vietnam and 4 from Indonesia) were selected to participate in the programme.
