On the occasion of the visit of the German Minister of Economic Development and Coopera-tion, Mr. Dirk Niebel, to Vietnam and the anniversary of "Germany in Vietnam 2010", this conference "Career and Cooperation" is organized for the first time for all Vietnamese who have studied or were educated and trained in Germany, either financed by their own or by any German or Vietnamese institution.

The conference offers the opportunity to exchange experience on career and cooperation with German and Vietnamese experts from business, science and society via podium discussions and workshops with different topics in the fields of economics and science.

Also on this occasion, the Alumniportal Deutschland (APD) www.alumniportal-deutschland.org will be officially launched in Vietnam. The Alumniportal Deutschland is an online-platform for global professional and personal networking among Alumni of Germany, associations, and partners from business, science, culture and public administration. Via the APD, Alumni are also updated with further training possibilities as well as jobs and career offers. APD is a joint project of the German organizations AGEF, AvH, CIM, DAAD, Goethe Institute and InWEnt and is financed by the German Ministry of Economic Development and Co-operation.

All Alumni of Germany in Vietnam are welcomed to participate in this special event.

This conference is an official part of the "Deutschland in Vietnam 2010".
