| RED Steer Study-tour for the Supervisors |

From September 26th to October 2nd 2010, a Study-tour in Germany on the topic of "Steering of Regional Economic Development" has been conducted for the Supervisors from Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.
The Study-tour is organized within the frame-work of the RED Steer project. Participants are supervisors of the institutions/organisations playing a key role in their national process of regional economic development. Previously their staffs have also attended the RED Steer's one-month-training held in August 2010 in Germany. The study-tour programme combined workshop discussions with field visits. The partcipants had chance to share their experience, get update on the region development models and concept of Germany and visit different places as successful examples of the German RED strategy.
