Evaluation Dialogue of Vietnam Social Security and InWEnt

VSSOn 25th of November 2008 Vietnam Social Security (VSS) and InWEnt organized an evaluation dialogue to assess their long cooperation in the framework of a dialogue and training project on Social Security.Since the year 2000 InWEnt has trained more than 400 persons, technical and management staff, and decision-makers of VSS through seminars, workshops and study tours.
Representatives of VSS, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance and other development organizations like World Bank and GTZ (German Technical Cooperation) as well as of InWEnt Berlin, Germany and Regional Office Hanoi attended this workshop.

VSS presented concrete results of this fruitful cooperation: the development of two model calculations, one for health insurance and one for pension insurance, and their implementation into the social security system in Vietnam.

Phan Thi Thai Linh, an expert from VSS, shared her experience with the InWEnt International Leadership Training on Social Security, a one-year practice oriented training programme in Germany for junior managers and young staff members of social security institutions from Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.
