 Workshop for incubation projects in Vietnam on 12th June 2008 at Melia Hotel Hanoi.Within the framework of the project `Promotion of Technological Innovations in South East Asia`, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), InWEnt, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), held a planning workshop for incubation projects in Vietnam on 12th June 2008 at Melia Hotel Hanoi.Incubators are a tool for promoting new businesses, especially technology-based firms. Technology and business incubators can also play a role in strengthening co-operation between regional public and private actors in the development of regions.
Together with InWEnt German experts, 50 participants from MoST, Departments of Science and Technology, high-tech parks and universities discussed and exchanged information and experience on management of technology incubation in South East Asia, assessed training needs on technology incubation, as well as agreed about further planning steps.
Similar workshop on this topic will be also conducted in Cambodia in August. |
