Integrated Teaching Method – Hot Issue of Vocational Teachers: Ten Workshops for German Partner Vocational Schools

Integrated Teaching Method has to be introduced in the vocational training and will replace the traditional training method where theory and practice are separated. So is said and announced by Vice-President of SR Vietnam Nguyen Thi Doan in the Final Ceremony of National Vocational Teacher Competition, in Quy Nhon in July 2009.

 

Over 200 vocational school teachers from Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City were introduced to the concept of integrated teaching method and their practical implementation in 2-day workshops during July and August 2010. The participants were introduced to the basic concept of competency-based training and integrated teaching method. Until the end of 2010 the participating teacher receive support from InWEnt experts to work on own practical implementation examples to put the Integrated Teaching Method into practice in their schools.
