AlumnimeetingPPMore than 120 participants from different programs of InWEnt and other German organizations met in an Alumni Meeting held by InWEnt on 12 June 2009 in Phnom Penh.
The meeting aimed to strengthen alumni activities in Cambodia and identify cooperation possibilities not only among Cambodian alumni themselves but also with InWEnt. The meeting was also a chance to collect ideas for InWEnt Alumni program in Cambodia.

The German Ambassador to Cambodia Mr. Frank Mann emphasized in his welcome speech the importance of networking and life-long learning for an academic and economical development of a country like Cambodia. Alumni who have been trained by German organizations could find great chance for further learning and experience exchange from each other. Besides, creativeness and initiatives from alumni are very necessary for alumni activities in the future.

After presentations on InWEnt portfolio in Cambodia, InWEnt Alumni programs, as well as the introduction of Alumni-Portal Deutschland, the alumni participants worked in groups to discuss different questions of "Networking possibility", "Alumni competencies and Corporation with InWent", and "Training needs of alumni".

InWEnt Alumni Programmes 2009 in Cambodia will be announced here soon.
