From 24-26 June 2009 a Kick-off workshop for InWEnt E-learning course on "Flexibilities of the TRIPS agreement" with 22 participants from 6 countries (Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Thailand and Vietnam) took place in Hanoi.

The E-Learning course is geared towards subject matter experts and decision makers from ministries, governmental institutions, NGOs and local pharmaceutical industry. The program equips participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully utilise (and advocate) the flexibilities presented by the WTO TRIPS Agreement towards pharmaceutical production and other means to promote access to medicines in their countries or regions.
During the Kick-off workshop participants had the chance to familiarise themselves with the online environment and the various communication tools of InWEnt e-learning platform "Global Campus 21".
