| Kick-off Workshop on Quality Management in Health Care Service from 6th to 9th December 2010 in Kenya |

From 6th to 9th December 2010 round 26 participants from Tanzania, Kenya, Cambodia and Vietnam came to Mombasa, Kenya to join the International Kick-off Workshop on Quality Management in Health Care Services within the framework of the Capacity Building for Effective Health (CBEH) Program. In the seminar, the participants were introduced about the CBEH program, basics of quality management in health care and the E-learning platform on Global Campus 21. They had also the opportunity to discuss strategies on quality management in health care services in national country teams and to present their country-specific issues to the audience. As results, the Vietnamese country team selected "Guidelines for Using Quality Circle in Hospitals" as their country project they will work on during the course while the Cambodian team selected "Challenges and Opportunity of Quality Management in Healthcare Sector". |
