Regional Economic Development Forum 2008 in Bogor, Indonesia

BogorA Forum has recently held last month for alumni to share experience and discuss on further cooperation on regional economic development.The Regional Economic Development Forum 2008 was organized from 16th - 21st November in Bogor, Indonesia for InWEnt former participants from program RED Expert, RED Managers, TRIP ASIA
(Training for Regional Investment Promotion in Asia), and the SEAL (Social Standards Exchange of Experience in Southeast Asia and Practical Learning) program.

This was the first time that InWEnt alumni from various batches gathered together for a big forum with the objective of sharing experience among the former participants who are all working in economic development sector.

Alumni from different countries Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Laos presented their success stories, RED new approaches and experience, as well as took part in a fruitful round-table discussion on environment for regional economic development.

After the forum, initiatives were raised among the participants to strengthen InWEnt Alumni network; and, together with the SEAL group, cooperation action plans were discussed and proposed with a common vision of working for a better regional economic development.
