On 28th November 2008 the Vietnamese Office of the Government (OoG) and InWEnt organized a review workshop to debrief the first year 2008`s cooperation activities of the project "Legal Capacity Building for the Office of the Government 2008-2010".In 2008 InWEnt has trained legal experts of the OoG, especially the experts of the Legal Department, and specialists from other state institutions like Assembly Office,

the Vietnamese Fatherland Front and the Ministries who are directly involved in the law-making process in Vietnam, through seminars, workshops, study tour and internship.

In his opening speech OoG`s Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed the signification of the project activities for the currently modernization of the law-making process in Vietnam, which are reflected in the new Law on Laws of Vietnam (adopted in July 2008). He also expressed his thanks to InWEnt for supporting OoG through seminars and consultancy in 2008.

Both project partners recognized the success of project activities in 2008 and demonstrated their willingness for the success of the coming years 2009 and 2010.
