| Teacher Qualification for Vocational Training Schools and Colleges in Hanoi |

From 12.- to 13. December 2009 a group of 45 teacher from the 11 partner schools and colleges of the German Development Cooperation (see www.tvet-vietnam.org) came to Hanoi for he end-of-the-year evaluation workshop. During the past five month 36 teams of teacher worked on the development of new and innovative training packages in the field of electric/electronic, mechanic and garments. The training package reflects the results of training measures in curriculum development, media development and subject-specific didactic carried out by InWEnt in the time 2007 to 2009 for and at the project schools. The project works were presented and exchanged among the schools and among the participating teacher. Prof. Dr. Cao Văn Sâm, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate for Vocational Training (GDVT) - MoLISA, highlined out the importance of the projects for the innovation of teaching method in Vietnam especially for the introduction of competency based training & learning unit. He also highly evaluated and welcomed the close cooperation between InWEnt and GDVT/MOLISA in the field of vocational teacher's training, and expressed the wish that the project work are to be finalized and used as resources for other teachers in vocational training system.
