From 19 to 20 November 2009, InWEnt, Capacity Building International (Germany) in partnership with UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical & Vocational Education and Training (Bonn) with the support from the Department of Technical and Vocational Education, Ministry of Education and Training (DTVE/MOET), the General Department of Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour, Invalids, Social Affairs (GDVT/MOLISA), and UNESCO Hanoi organized a sub-regional workshop on "Developing
Beside the Vietnamese experts for teacher education, there are counterparts from Germany, South Korea, China, Laos, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia joined this workshop.
The workshop aimed to explore in detail: - International tendencies in TVET teacher training - Approaches to support TVET teacher training through international cooperation - TVET teacher training in the context of its role in the development of National/Regional Qualification Frameworks and/or standards - TVET teacher training in the context of Regional Human Resources and Sustainable Economic Development.
