Start-up workshop hold in August 2008 within the Project Promotion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Vietnam (TVET).Start-up Workshop on TVET Network Southeast Asia National TVET Qualification Framework has taken place in Vientiane, Lao P.D.R. from August 18th to 22nd 2008.
In a joint workshop with the Lao Ministry of Education, representatives from the business sector, GTZ-TVET Project and DED-Experts discussed the requirements and implementation of standard settings in TVET system.

The program includes Indonesia and Vietnam will continue until the end of 2010.
